6x1 – 1955 Argentine Grand Prix

The sixth season of Formula 1 begins and the first race is in Argentina and had a total of 21 racers and many changes of teams. The race weather was very hot and Fangio would happily gift this fans a good lead start, it wouldn't last long however as he was surpassed by Ascari, he would be however lucky to have Ascari flying. Ascari would then make a mistake on lap 22, spinning out on oil. The heat was one big problem for the racers and it had led many to pit and switch drivers. It was said in the post race show to be the hottest race in normal Formula 1 and only Juan Manuel Fangio and Roberto Mieres survived the whole race without partaking in a shared drive. Fangio would be the winner with a time of: 3:00:38.6. He would also face severe burns on his leg but would not miss any champions, (in three months, he recovered ).
