4x1 – 1953 Argentine Grand Prix

After Ascari's glorious winning at the 1952 Italian Grand Prix, it's now time to enter 1953 and we are in Argentina with 16 racers. Apart from Piero Taruffi departing to work on the Lancia sportscar programme and being replaced by Mike Hawthorn, the Ferrari 500 was still as confident as ever. Fangio would not be in the Ferrari this year but he would instead be in the Maserati A6GCM, the car was gonna give challenge to the Ferrari 500. Since this Grand Prix was new, Juan Peron had said that everyone should come and see the race by saying: "My children, let them in". The crowd was strong and couldn't be controlled even for the small police force. At the start, Ascari begins wonderfully, while Hawthorn's first Ferrari time started bad. The race was sadly a mess in terms of spectators and had managed to make the crowd too risk daring and Farina had said to have killed 13 spectators and this was the start of many deaths to come. In the end, none withdrew and Ascari won with a time of: 3:01:04.6.

4x2 – 1953 Indianapolis 500

4x3 – 1953 Dutch Grand Prix

The third race was set in Deutchland and had a total of 20 racers. Due to Maserati wanting to prepare more for the race, they decided to not fight Ferrari in non-championship races, however, they would still do well on those. A sad turns of events would happen for Behra, in which after the many bad luck moments and more recently a wheel bearing failure, Robert Manzon would quit and the leader would be changed to Maurice Trintignant. Like always, Ferrari makes a good start, at the end of the first lap, Ascari led Villoresi, Farina, Fangio, Hawthorn, De Graffenried, González and Moss. In the meantime that Ascari was racing normally, Villoresi and Farina were fighting for second place. In the end, Ascari won again with a time of: 2:53:35.8.

4x4 – 1953 Belgian Grand Prix

The fourth race was set in Belgium and had 22 racers. Maserati would let Johnny Claes, the popular Belgian privateer to race a works Maserati for his home grand prix, after Felice Bonetto had rested due to bad start and would also welcome Onofre Marimón. For the first time in the season and after winning multiple races, Ascari got overwhelmed by Fangio and González moving past the Ferrari at the start. Fangio would be doing very well and would be pretty distant from Ferrari, however, Maserati wouldn't need to cheer just yet. As both would quit on lap 11. Ascari would also need to watch out on himself as Farina would retire on second place with engine failure and Marimón, continued to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Maserati, but he wouldn't manage to reach Ascari any time soon. Which means... Ascari wins again with a time of:2:38:30.3. Fangio was another possible winner but would fly into a ditch unarmed.

4x5 – 1953 French Grand Prix

The fifth race was set in France and had 25 racers. To amp up the power, Ferrari would put a 2.5L engine to compensate for the higher fuel consumption at the Reims circuit, managing to outstand the Maserati A6CGM. Before the race would start, controversy would start with the leading Ferrari for turning off the headlights an hour before permitted, it was then accepted after seeing that the other rivals were doing the same thing. But when the leading Ferrari was pushed started, it would be disqualified. González would try a low risky low fuel strategy and would be leader of the race, it would be however ruined by Bonetto with a spin leading him to tenth place. Throughout the race, it would be revealed that Ascari was lacking the power of earlier races and that Fangio and Hawthorn were fighting for lead and that González was in a big fight for third. At the end, Fangio would lose his lead battle and Hawthorn would then win the race, ending Ascari's nine win streak. Winning time was: 2:44:18.6.

4x6 – 1953 British Grand Prix

The sixth race was in Britain and had 29 racers. Fangio would get a good start in the race, almost getting the lead. Hawthorn would then be stuck in the pit for over a lap, after suffering a spin that could have ended his Carrier. González would fight for Ascari to obtain lead, however, leaking gave his car a black flag. It was however not apparent to him, making him argue with the officials and him losing time in the race. The race had been a montage of multiple accidents, battles and multiple confusing moments. It was won by Ascari with a time of: 2:50:00.

4x7 – 1953 German Grand Prix

The seventh race was set in Germany and had 35 racers. With the season almost coming to an end, it seemed like that the best option for winner, even though he had lost in France and the Maserati proved to be improving. But, one key helping hand for Ferrari, is that González would be injured and could not participate, leading a three Maserati VS four Ferrari battle. Fangio would make an amazing race start, but not enough to claim lead. While the race was as always, in Ascari luck, it would break when a hub wheel would break, it would be chaos for the team and would ruin Ascari by a long run, he would pull in the pits and Villoresi and Ascari would switch cars. He would be doing many fast laps but would also have a smoking car, Ascari would then quit. The race was won by Farina with a time of: 3:02:25.0.

4x8 – 1953 Swiss Grand Prix

The penultimate race of the 1953 season and Fangio was the only non-Ferrari driver with a chance to still win the championship in his Maserati. But mechanical trouble for Fangio allowed Ferrari's Ascari to clinch the race and the title.

4x9 – 1953 Italian Grand Prix
