12x1 – Catching
Luke is struggling to find a sitter for his daughter while he has an interview for a job. Michelle tries to help, but is shocked by Luke's desperate behavior. Simon and Will have the perfect date. However, is Will too good to be true?

12x2 – A Happy Ending
A patient of Daniels wants to die at home, rather than at hospital, so Cherry goes to visit him. He doesn't want his family there, which Cherry finds hard to understand. Daniel also tries to find out from Julia and Heston what's happening with the practice, now that they are a partner down. Smithy has a little surprise for Ruth, he's got a baby from somewhere. He thinks it's theirs, but Ruth is totally shocked. Has Smithy lost his marbles again?

12x3 – One More Scrum
A former rugby player, whose now in a wheelchair, gets into a fight when drunk with mates at a lap dancing club. He injures himself. His put upon wife gets Heston involved. His wife, it seems, is keeping a secret: She's a lap dancer. There're more tap dancing rehearsals, Ruth is really good, though her rehearsal is interrupted when Smithy turns up. He's been tap dancing in the snow, with no shoes on.

The Doctors count down the top C words that cause consternation. And, new treatments for corns, calluses and constipation!

12x5 – Home to Roost
Smithy drags Ruth to an old building. He is obsessed with the roof and how it affects the local birds. They have a big argument, which results in Smithy going onto said roof and standing on the edge a lot. Ruth calls Michelle who gets him sectioned. Simon and Cherry have a big argument about Will, and he accuses her of turning into 'Zara, but without the wit'.

12x6 – Neighbourhood Watch
A nosy OAP patient of Daniels gets into trouble with his neighbors. They've got guns and everything. Daniel and Zara go round to see him, just as he has a heart attack. Zara and Daniel argue a lot. Ruth feels really bad about the sectioning of Smithy, so she has a chat with Henry who tells her how colorful life is.

12x7 – Mystery Tour
A missing girl writes to her parents, with instructions that lead to a trail of Cd's that will supposedly lead to her. She has recorded messages for them. Her friend Michelle, joins them as the tour takes them around Letherbridge. It's Ruth's first day back at work. Will visits Simon at the Mill. Cherry tells him that it's Simons birthday on Thursday. He wants to do something. Daniel and Zara continue to bicker, so Julia decides to book them on a team building course.

12x8 – Love Me, Hate Me
Charlie and Heston go for a late night Balti, and end up causing some racially aggravated fuss. Jimmi goes to a late night home visit. The woman and her daughter are both fans of his from his radio show, which brings back memories of his recent kidnapping by his 'number one fan'.

12x9 – Synergy
A mischievous and misbehaved Daniel and Zara cause havoc on the first day of their team-building course. They do get to play with balloons though. Karen discovers that she has very little money, so speaks to Ruth to see if she wants to join with her and ask for a pay-rise. Cherry and Will organize a party for Simon's birthday. Charlie has a big shock when he finds out that Simon is gay.

12x10 – Two's Company
It's the second day of Zara and Daniel's Team Building course, and there's a new leader, Julian having taken the day off for 'personal time'. Zara's in a mood over Daniel's night time exploits with Daisy. The day ends with it all getting a bit serious. Heston meets the IT guy, who turns out to be sexy Susan. He gets drawn in to her personal activities. Simon is worried about Will's strange behavior last night, when he disappeared from his birthday party.

Sophie, an attractive friend of Immie's, targets an old rich guy, she wants to marry him! She even flirts with Immie's dad. She gets more than she bargained for though when things turn nasty. Karen goes through Julia's drawers to look for the wage sheet. She is shocked to find out she earns a lot less than everyone else. Julia offers Jimmi the partnership position, but does he want it?

Zara is apprehensive when she meets her dad. He has been released from prison, but he's not the same man she remembers. Ruth's ankle gets twisted when a young tearaway kicks a football at her in reception. Her day's about to get worse though. Simon and Will spend the day together, but they are still arguing over Will's decision not to tell anyone about their relationship.

An attractive female patient of Daniel's has been telling her mate all about their night of passion. It seems she's besotted with him, and turn's up at the Mill, but is she telling the truth? Simon discovers that Will is married with a kid. Karen and Rob argue about money.

12x14 – Protection
Zara drags her dad into town, and is doing her best to keep him occupied. She wants his advice. All he wants to do is sit at home though. Simon tries to come to terms with the fact that Will has a family. He decides to call it a day. A patient of Cherry's wants to go on the pill. She has already started having sex, but is underage. Karen has a go at Julia over her level of pay.

12x15 – Careless Whisper
The elderly mother of a Downs Syndrome girl is about to go on a trip to America, only she's a bit poorly and has to get the doctor out. She's been not-so-secretly earning extra money as a phone sex worker, so her daughter takes up the mantle. Julia is a bit shocked. Zara takes her dad to a local Over 50's Community Coffee Morning, though she can't wait to get out, it reminds her of 'Cocoon'. Her dad wants to play table tennis though. Poor Zara. Simon turns to Ruth to talk about his break-up.

12x16 – Monday Monday
Zara is back at work, though her dad keeps phoning her. They end up arguing. Everyone is having a go at Simon over Will having a wife, especially Charlie who is a bit homophobic. Will finds his ambulance driver looking through a patients bag. What's he to do? Daniel needs to get £80,000 to have a chance of becoming partner. He asks Zara for help.

12x17 – All the Right Moves
Jack moves back into the Halls of Residence, and immediately gets chatted up by a sexy brunette. Unfortunately, her brother happens to be the weird Heavy Metal freak who lodges in the room next door. Karen continually moans about not being paid enough, and Simon takes Will's scarf back to him.

12x18 – The False Heart
A troublesome young actor is having terrible nightmares and heart trouble. Heston helps him out. Karen is on industrial work-to-rule, which causes lots of bother. It's all back on with Simon and Will, but Simon doesn't want Cherry to know. Ruth becomes his partner-in-crime to stop her from knowing.

12x19 – Idle Hands
A vagrant is caught by Rob, just after he claims that he killed a girl by touching her with his bare hand. She was just involved in a car accident though. Jimmi gets involved. Will he be his next 'victim'. Zara's father continues to be a bit down-in-the-dumps. He burns his hand, so Cherry goes around to look at it. They have some ironing fun and she stops for dinner, much to Zara's annoyance. Heston gives Karen an envelope with some money in it, to hopefully stop her work-to-rule. Unfortunately he's taken it from the biscuit fund.

It's snowing again in Letherbridge, and Michelle has had her tyre slashed. Luckily a neighbor is there to help. He is a big Mowtown fan and has a bow tie given to him by Smokey Robinson in 1965. He's living in the past, and secretly fancies her. Imagine her surprise when he tries to kiss her at the local tea dance. Zara drags her dad to a posh restaurant, but it all ends in tears. He wants to move into a place of his own. Ruth has to find someone else to lead the tap dance troupe, as Charlie has gout again. She targets Jimmi.

12x21 – Like Mother Like Daughter
Charlie helps a mother and daughter after they discover they are both dating the same man. Zara has an emotional turn when helping her dad move into his new sheltered accommodation. She thinks it's poky and "you can't even open the windows". Jack tries to cheer her up. Julia starts hunting down the missing petty cash, so many biscuits just seems wrong.

Rob catches an incompetent colleague in an amorous embrace with Susie, whilst both at work. What will he do? Immie helps a male friend when he sees the girl he's supposed to marry out with another man.

Cherry goes and sees a couple, the wife is struggling with memory loss. She doesn't remember the big crash. Simon has it out again with Will. He wants him to leave his wife. Charlie sees them hug, and has a go at them for being 'abnormal'. Jimmi tries to sort out the Karen problem.

Will brings his son to see Simon at the Mill. Heston, whilst practicing his speech for a funeral, gets called out on a house call. The old lady is being forced to move to Studley. Zara goes with Daniel to his bank interview, as he tries to secure the money he needs to make partner.

12x25 – Lady Luck
Daniel suggests to Zara a way to get the rest of the money for the partnership - he'll gamble it. An elderly Traveller turns up at the Mill. She has second sight and has put up camp in the car park. She says that "Money begets Money", so Daniel goes to the local casino to try his luck. Zara chases after him. Charlie keeps on having a go at Simon about his sexuality. Cherry finds out that Simon has been lying to her about being with Will.

12x26 – Street Life
Jimmi has to deal with a drug addled prostitute at the police station. There he meets the Superintendent's daughter, who is there for the day to see what goes on. He quite fancies her. Simon goes to see Will, to supposedly break up with him. It doesn't go quite to plan though. Julia gives Daniel a pat on the back regarding his possible partnership, only she doesn't know he blew the £40,000 in a casino. Or has Zara played a devious trick on him?

12x27 – Consequences
Simon and Will try to come to terms with being discovered by Sophie. She decides to corner Simon at work. Julia asks Heston to spy on Daniel, and is shocked to discover that she has asked Daniel to raise twice as much for the partnership as he needs to. Zara also finds out, and Daniel gives Julia an ultimatum.

Josh's girlfriend gets a journalist friend of hers to dig into his mother's past. It unearths a terrible secret, but will Josh have the nerve to look at it? Michelle gives him a helping hand. Will and Sophie spend a lot of time arguing about his and Simon's relationship, and Heston decides that Ruth should take the lead in the forthcoming tap competition, as she is the only one who is any good.

12x29 – The Loneliness of the Long Distance Unicyclist
Karen knocks a unicyclist down. Only he seems to be a strange Welch alternative comedian. His interactive comedy act apparently features Karen, much to her horror. And he Blogs it all on the web. Daniel is still smarting over being treated like a child by Julia and Heston. He threatens to leave, so Zara sorts him out. Ruth starts practicing like mad for the tap routine. Will tries to get Simon back.

12x30 – Pound of Flesh
A young woman turns up at the Mill to prove to an older man that she is still a virgin. It seems that she has sold her virginity to the highest bidder on the Internet. And it's a lot of money. Julia noses in and tries to talk her out of it. It's the day of Daniel's big interview at a posh clinic, so Zara tries to 'help' him with a selection of questions about his past.

Julia speaks to Heston about her concerns regarding Charlie. The complaints from female staff and patients keep coming. More trouble though, when he's visited by an ageist student patient. Daniel doesn't get the job he went for, and has a strop in Julia's direction. Ruth has tap-based nightmares, and she's working late fixing up the costumes.

Simon tries to help a man after he's started back to work. His wife has fallen into a coma. She keeps dreaming that she's awoken in a strange white room and tries to make people believe that she is awake. He is in such a state that he steals a prescription pad from Simon's room. Cherry has moved back in with Simon, and decides to cook for him.

12x33 – The Tiptoe of Expectation
An elderly woman thinks it's almost time - her baby is about to arrive. A young guy who breaks in leads to a tale of long lost love being revealed. Zara convinces Daniel to apologize to Julia, which he does - with surprising consequences. Two of Heston's best and oldest friends arrive for the latest annual Bunfight, which Heston is hosting. Cherry overhears them disparaging him, so decides to pretend to be his girlfriend, to beef him up in front of his 'friends'.

12x34 – The Last Hurrah
Rob almost knocks a 15 year old girl down. It seems she is loud mouthed, and very drunk. He arrests her, and Rob and Jimmi try to work out why she is in the state she's in. Heston tries to teach his 'new girlfriend' Cherry, the art of deportment and etiquette. Julia tells Karen that she thinks she should start training as a Health Care Assistant.

12x35 – Heaven, I'm in Heaven
It's the day before the gala, and Ruth seems to have forgotten all her tap steps, and is feeling sick. Jimmi thinks she's got a case of stage fright. Jack goes home to revise for his exam, only finds Immie making a racket doing her art project. They argue a lot. Heston has a go at Cherry over her dress sense.

12x36 – Shuffle, Ball, Change
The day of the big gala has arrived, but Ruth is still ultra nervous about the whole thing. Karen gets Jack to get her some tights for the show, and he has to take himself into a 'Ladies' shop. The two women in there are all over him though. Charlie obsesses over Zara's new shoes.

12x37 – Pass the Parcel
Everyone is still high after the success of the gala tap routine. Daniel is all dressed up, trying to impress before his first partners meeting. Heston wants to give Charlie a permanent contract. Michelle fears her elderly patient might be being mistreated by her two sons. Simon has a bad day, he's pining after Will, and then Charlie 'has a word'.

Heston's latest patient has fallen off a ladder whilst working in a church. He believes he is the reincarnation of a local jazz musician. Immie is really stressed over her art exam, but gets talked into giving it a go. Ruth is still having post-gala blues. Can she be cheered up?

12x39 – Domo Arigato, Super San
Somebody is out to get the favorite in a Japanese superhero dress-up competition. Cherry tries to find out who. Immie is there taking photos, but has her camera stolen. Could it be the same person? Rowly, an old friend of Julia's visits her at the Mill, and starts telling tales of her colorful past. Karen makes a big decision regarding Julia's job offer, but can she cope with the needles?

12x40 – Past Tense
Jimmi helps Rob and the police investigate three suspicious suicides. It turns out to be a serial killer, who ends up targeting someone very close to Rob. Julia goes for a picnic with Rowly. She ends up getting a big shock though. Cherry's choice of a pink, very sparkly dress for Heston's party, leaves Heston non-plussed, so he helps her choose something a bit more 'elegant'. Daniel and Zara have another day of arguing.

Simon gets involved when a student comes to him with tales that his girlfriend scares him, and throws things. He doesn't know what to do. He meets another young girl, through the music of David Bowie. Unfortunately he is playing everyone against each other. Julia goes to Zara for some relationship advice.

12x42 – The Light Fantastic
It's Ruth's day off. She stops a young tearaway from pinching a magazine from a newsagent. He's so happy that she doesn't 'dob him in', he starts stalking her, even asking her to marry him, and move in with him. Jimmi treats a nervous boy, whose never kissed a girl before. He's got flowers for the object of his affection, and asks Jimmi for dating tips.

12x43 – Class Act
It's the night of Heston's soirée, but it doesn't start well when Heston discovers a bird has got into his house, and wrecked the beautifully lay-ed table. A beautiful Cherry, in her little black dress, then makes a big speech about Wales, not realizing that Ravi is in fact an expert on 'Whales' - the 'Big Fishy Things', not Wales the Country. And then it all goes down hill. Rowly, who is in fact not gay, goes on a date with Julia.

A professional Tiddly-Winker has a sports injury - he's sprained his wrist. He wants to become World Champion so goes to Cherry to get help. Julia and Rowly try to come to terms with what happened on their date. Heston steps in to offer his advice. Zara spots Daniel with a sexy young girl. Ruth gets some unexpected news from Charlie, and Charlie and unexpected grope from Zara.

Karen is now fully trained up after her Health Care Assistant course. A female vicar is getting nasty notes, and bricks through her windows. She also has a nasty cough. Who could be behind it all. Daniel gets involved and discovers the extent of the problems. Julia wants a chat.

When Ruth sees an old school friend of hers physically attack her husband, she starts believing him when he says that her personality has changed. But why, and can Ruth convince Simon who refuses to believe anything is wrong. Julia asks Daniel to talk to Zara, but she's going to a wedding. Julia also wants Heston to have a chat with Simon, she's worried about him. Karen practices drawing blood on Jimmi, only it all goes horribly wrong - blood everywhere.

Heston helps a father who has gender problems. He Thinks he's a woman, and wears woman's clothes. It all comes to a head when he has to meet his daughter's fiancé. Jimmi lets Karen have another go at taking blood from him. Julia asks Simon to a dinner party, only it looks like he's the only one invited.

Immie babysits for a soon-to-be-wed young couple, only ends up helping them stick their rocky relationship back together. Is it pre-wedding jitters or something more? Karen tries to get anyone she can to practice taking blood on. Simon goes to Julia's for a party of one.

Julia finds her bewildered neighbor wandering around her garden looking for her pussycat. Only her cat died years ago. She has dementia, so Julia gets involved with her and her daughter. Karen tries taking blood from Jack (who runs scared like a baby), and Immie. Only Immie lets her take way too much. It'll soon be Michelle's 30th birthday, and she's hating it. Heston makes her an appointment which could change her life.

An old lady in sheltered accommodation believes her neighbor has gone missing. She thinks Lara the block manager is the culprit and ropes in Charlie to help solve the case. Charlie though, fancies Lara, after all, she is very sexy. Michelle starts her first day at the hospital, in the department that looks after seriously injured soldiers, but she finds it much harder to deal with than she ever imagined. Cherry admits to Simon that she fancies Jimmi.

It's the day of Jack's birthday barbecue, and Karen wants it to be a 'sophisticated family gathering'. No such luck, especially as the punch has a lot of alcohol in it. Cherry is disappointed when Jimmi can't go, so gets really drunk and sleeps with someone she really shouldn't. Michelle has a heart-to-heart with Ruth, she's scared about joining Housman Ward.

12x57 – Nappy Rash
Iris pretends to be her next-door neighbor, when Zara pays a visit. She thinks her neighbor is running an unlicensed nursery for illegal immigrants and is determined to get to the bottom it, with Zara's enforced help. Cherry is horrified when she wakes up next to Daniel, and even more so when she bumps into Jimmi in the kitchen. Daniel isn't helping - did they or didn't they? Michelle is very nervous as she starts looking after the injured soldiers on Housman ward.

Ruth spends the day with a very green gardener. His neighbors are having a real go at him though. Ruth kinda likes him, so they go for a picnic. Michelle seems to be the only one who can get Chris to talk, though she has some bad news for him. Daniel tells Cherry the truth about the other night, and Jimmi gives him an ultimatum.

Michelle gets introduced to a new patient. Matt is a war hero, but is now brain damaged, and getting violent. His wife has to make a big decision. Zara helps Daniel to work out why Jimmi wants to throw him out.

Simon gives a talk at a school, he finds his old friend Jamie caught in the middle of an awkward power struggle between the headstrong deputy headmistress and an equally headstrong pupil.

It's Karen's first day as a Health Care Assistant, but will it all go horribly wrong? Probably! Chris won't admit to Michelle that he is getting some feeling in his legs. He has a case of 'Survivor Guilt', especially after talking to his Sergeant back in Afghanistan. Immie has a secret meeting with Heston.

Chris is finally talked into visiting Jess, who has come out of her coma. Michelle thinks there's something wrong with the way Chris keeps remembering his injury. Heston takes Immie to the Barber Institute, though she's brought along her loud-mouthed friend Simone. Charlie sees a strong -willed war photographer with diabetes, but does he miss something during his examination?

Chris is nearing his final assessment. He's getting stressed, so Michelle takes him to the pub where the truth comes about what happened in Afghanistan. Heston invites Immie to Florence to look at some art, but Rob thinks he only wants to look at something else!

12x64 – Peace, Love and Understanding
Two warring divorce lawyers up their game when they find out that they have a husband and wife as their clients. Julia gets caught in the middle. Michelle almost breaks her ankle on some new high heel shoes. When the shoe shop girl refuses to refund them for her she sits on the floor of the shop and refuses to move. Karen and Immie try to get around Rob and his refusal to let Immie go to Florence with Heston.

12x65 – Happy Place
Simon deals with an undertaker who can't stop collapsing, and keeps having nightmares. Jack has an essay to write on the relationship between the police and the CPS, so goes to his dad for help. He also lets it out about Immie going away with Heston, and Rob is not best pleased. Daniel convinces Zara to go on a date with him, so takes her to a bowling alley. She wants to prove to him that she can 'do relationships'.

12x66 – Small Town Hero
Ruth deals with a young boy who has saved his mother from a bad kitchen fire. She and Jimmi discover that all is not well though. Daniel goes for a business meeting on the golf course, trying to get work for the Granger clinic, and possibly beefs himself up along the way. He gets a big offer though.

12x67 – Gentle Giant
A man who has spent 20 years in prison for rape and murder gets released after DNA reveals his innocence. Zara gets involved when he starts getting panic attacks and is assaulted by the relative of one of his supposed victims. Things are still horrible between Immie and her father, as Heston goes to Florence alone. Michelle goes out on a date with her PC.

An obnoxious old soldier makes life hell for his new scared room mate in the bed next to him, so Anna gets involved as peacemaker. Simon annoys a big fat patient with an anger problem, then gets assaulted by him at the surgery. Talk about a day going from bad to worse. And he shouts at Ruth! Rob tries to make amends with Immie.

12x69 – Finding the Words
A monk, who doesn't speak, asks Jimmi for help. He knocked a young girl over many years ago, and wants to find her on the eve of her 18th birthday. Ruth is still worried about Simon, so Zara decides to try and cheer him up. Michelle starts treating a new patient, a guy called Gary who has very severe burns on his face.

Rob comes home and finds Karen all dolled up, playing opera and with a dashing young man hiding in the utility cupboard. They argue a lot and Rob goes fishing where he meets a sexy young woman who deals with 'alternative' medicine. Immie and Jack come to terms with Gaz's burns and injuries, and go and visit him in hospital.

Michelle is trying to get back for a hot afternoon with her new man, only a mad old woman keeps getting in her way. She's looking for her lost cat, and gets herself stuck in rooms. Michelle ends up taking her home. Immie goes back to see Gaz in hospital. An angry Jack though interviews Anna for the student rag. He's angry at the Army.

New dad Johnny is obsessed with the 100 day rule of not having sex after having a new baby. It's day 99, his marriage is rocky, as is his beautiful next door neighbor's. He takes his baby to the Mill, where a la 'Sliding Doors', his day plays out in two time-lines, where he gets very differing advice from both Charlie and Heston. Whose advice will he take, and what will he do about that kiss he got from his sexy next door neighbor?

A sexy young Cliff Richard fan who's living the past through rose colored spectacles and dresses like Duffy, gets a shock when her father returns after ten years. And she's been lying to her big sister. Michelle's first patient from the Housman ward returns fully fit and ready to go back to work. She's very happy. Cherry gets upset when she finds out that Simon confided in Zara.

12x74 – Wedded Miss
Cherry gets an invite to an old friend's wedding, only he's worrying about a room mix-up, and the bride is flirting outrageously with the best man. Strangely though, the best man's not happy. Michelle sees two new arrivals at Housman ward, and starts taking stock of her life as her 30th birthday looms. The PCT wants to introduce Homeopathy into the practice. Only Julia seems keen on the idea.

Ruth has the afternoon off but gets bothered by an annoying man who was with her when Smithy tried to jump off the roof a whilst ago. He won't leave her alone. Heston finds himself in the local rag.

Simon is called out when a helpful woman finds a young Muslim asylum seeker hiding in her garden. He has a nasty gash on his head, and scabies. He gets taken to Social Services, where the plot thickens. PC Bevan is on the case. Heston's comments about the merits, or lack of, of homeopathy results in the Mill being under siege from news reporters. Cherry decides to look into Doctor Diana. Julia has a chat with Michelle about her plans for the future.

Kim and Monica grow very suspicious of their odd neighbors. The call the cops, only to find a cannabis growing factory. Heston goes to see Dr Diana, but the results aren't great and they argue a lot. Rob suggests that Louis opens his heart to Michelle about his feelings. He doesn't know of her plans, so is in for a shock. Things keep getting worse and worse for Saleem, despite Simon's help. Michelle has a tearful lunch with Ruth.

Heston is stuck in hospital, following his heart scare. Dr Diana goes to visit him. Jimmi goes to see a patient who can't get to the surgery. He's refusing to leave his home, even though it's falling down and they want to demolish it. Michelle has a last shift at Housman. Everyone throws a 'surprise' party for her. She says her tearful goodbye's and leaves Letherbridge for the horror of Afghanistan.

On her day off, Ruth gets involved with her neighbor's marital life, when the newly-wed turns up on her doorstep very tearful. Heston keeps causing trouble while in hospital, until a cute new nurse brightens his day. He also gets a visit from Julia. Cherry and Jimmi get a fit of the giggles.

Charlie's sister turns up at the Mill, with some marital problems that she wants Charlie's help with. He follows her husband, but ends up seeing more than he bargained for. Karen comes up with a new and funky way of tracking members of staff. Julia's not quite so sure! Cassandra and Heston get closer and closer - she makes staying in hospital almost worthwhile. Simon pays Heston a visit.

Derek and his wife Mitsy are on the local radio to help promote their new self-help relationship book. They also have a drop-in day at their clinic. Unfortunately a tale about a past girlfriend 'Mara' hits a chord with Zara - for it is she, and he was already married. Very annoyed, she drags Simon in to expose and ruin him. Unfortunately Mitsy gets caught in the crossfire. Julia calls in a woman to help with the Mill's efficiency, which results in war between her, Julia and Karen.

A man, just out of prison, is constantly getting harassed, vandalized and is the victim of anti-social behavior. A young thug believes he killed his dad. Rob gets involved to try and sort it all out. Cassandra and Heston keep getting closer, but does she go too far? Jack talks to his dad about his next big story for the student rag. An itchy spot has appeared on Julia's back, so she gets Karen to have a look at it.

Jack is writing a new article for the student paper. He's investigating Mr Quinn, the Head of Admissions, who he thinks is admitting undeserving students. He has help from miss Laker, who says is being bullied by Mr Quinn. Jack discovers that journalism isn't quite as straight forward as he thinks though. Cassandra tells Heston that she thinks they are soul mates, but how will he react?

Julia is at home ill. Her pipes are also faulty. Unfortunately the new Chief Executive of the PCT is visiting the Mill. It falls to a put-upon Ruth to deal with him. Heston is only just out of hospital, but still pops into work. An old eccentric, poorly recluse has trouble from a badger-baiting youth. Daniel gets involved, then it all gets out of hand.

Immie takes Gaz to an Open Mic comedy gig at 'The Laughter Shack', but she is disgusted by the terrible treatment they get from the compère. She decides to try and get back at him. Daniel invites Zara to a new posh restaurant, only she gets a call from her cousin so can't go. He decides to take Jimmi instead, but it ends up with the four of them going, much to Cherry's dismay. Julia gets to the truth about Ruth and Mr Galliflakis.

Simon bumps into a teenage girl with a baby who is obviously upset. He tries to help but gets the brush off. That's not the end of the matter though. An ex boyfriend's mother tries to see Cherry. She wants to have lunch, but why?

After her lack of success with Jimmi, and having dreams of herself floating in water, Cherry decides to get rid of everything pink and take herself more seriously. Her day would soon end up in real waters though, helping a drowning man, with Jimmi to the rescue. Julia is ill at work, so Zara takes her home and decides to play nursemaid.

Cherry is in hospital following her brush with death, and all she can think about is her savior - Jimmi. Charlie thinks he's got a way into a prestigious golf club in Letherbridge, having saved the Chairman's wife from choking at a party. Only it won't be prestigious for long if he joins! Julia is back at work. She's very stressed and having a go at Karen.

A woman goes to see Daniel for Botox. She wants to look like she did in an old photo she's brought with her. Daniel has his doubts though - she talks to people who aren't there, and her doctor and husband say she's dead. Elaine is relaxing at home, in the middle of a long term relationship that's going no-where. She wants to get back to work, and the Mill is her target. Julia is still feeling ill - she's got the shakes and falls asleep in the strangest of places.

Spanner is working with the police to trap granddad in a drunks ring. Granddad is such named because he walks like one. Elaine is having a lazy day shaving her legs, and asks Paul to go with her to Letherbride. He doesn't want to but presents her with a new house opportunity. Then she gets the job offer from Heston. What is she to do?

Even though her memory loss is worsening, Julia tries to help a woman whose husband died recently. She still talks to him though, and he follows her around. She's very annoyed, so makes a momentous decision. Cherry talks to Simon about her Jimmi concerns.

Michael's behavior gets stranger by the minute, and after an outburst at the surgery, Daniel tells him to get out. Heston gives Crossland some advice over breakfast - it seems Michael has some hold over him which could wreck his marriage. Julia gets ever more stressed and bad tempered over the upcoming presentation, with Ruth getting the brunt of it.

Kye is scared of the woods outside the back of her house. She keeps getting flashes of red fire, and senses something evil. Her dad thinks she's psychically blessed. Heston discovers it all leads to something very close to home. Zara returns and is furious when she finds her room has been turned into a 'Hippy Squat'. It's the day of the presentation at the PCT, only Ruth has to step up when Julia falls apart.

A friend of Simon's takes him along to see an astrophysicist, who even though discredited, has started a 'cult' organization. His name is Blake, and they all dress like Star Trek characters. Or is there something more sinister lurking? It's Ruth's first day in charge, as Julia is off sick. Only she's trying a bit too hard. Julia gets a surprise visit at home, Zara is out to get Elaine, but is totally disarmed.

Zara has an exquisite gateau delivered especially from France, and plans to eat one piece a day over four days. It's not that easy though. She bets a slice that Cherry can't make Ruth laugh out loud, and, called to attend a local boxing match, she makes a big mistake in taking the cake with her. She also discovers that all is not as it seems when the young boxer has a nasty fall.

An old friend of Charlie's is recently bereaved. She keeps seeing her dead husband in the mirror, so goes to Charlie for help. She tells him that it says in the will that there is a secret box kept in an upstairs safe, which must be delivered to the solicitor unopened. This scares Charlie, and he's determined to see inside her box. Julia falls asleep while looking after Chloe, who ends up scalded. Julia calls everyone by the wrong name.

Jimmi and Cherry wake up in bed, only Jimmi calls her Eva. She's naturally perturbed. Two yobs pinch some flowers from a florist, which end up on Jimmi's car. Jimmi finds them, together with a previously left 'sorry' note from Cherry! Confusion reigns, especially when the police turn up. Julia takes Chloe to the zoo, only loses her. Simon thinks there may be something wrong with Julia.

A man wakes up in hospital with eye patches on. He's been in a crash, but doesn't remember it and doesn't recognize his brother's voice. Jack is shadowing the sexy, yet cynical solicitor on the case. He spots that something's afoot and wants to delve deeper. She doesn't. Will he get into serious trouble or save the day? Simon, Cherry and Ruth all voice their concern over Julia to Heston. He's a tough nut though, and doesn't believe anything's wrong.

Jimmi goes around to visit Julia to try and find out what's wrong with her. It's the day of the Freshers Ball, and the band are struggling with their rehearsals. The lead singer then gets a phone call which threatens to mess everything up. It's up to Elaine to help sort it all out.

Immie meets Gio, and she's head over heels!

Cherry tries to match-make two friends at her morning yoga sessions, but it doesn't quite work out as she would have hoped. Elaine moves into Charlie's old room, but while she's making it all nice, she seems to become the one person that everyone else wants to talk to about Julia and Charlie. Immie goes for coffee with her dreamy poetry spouting Italian hunk.

First into work in the morning, Zara finds a new born baby on the Mill doorstep. Despite her initial detachment, the baby girl soon brings out the emotional and human side of her. Gio turns up at Immie's art class playing romantic music and carrying flowers. So smitten is she that they try and have sex, only to be interrupted by Jack. He gets mad, but will she be able to stop him telling their mum.

Meredith Von Trapp sees Daniel about the pill. She's a virgin and has a phobia of all things sexual, and keeps putting her boyfriend off from having sex. She also happens to be a stripper. Daniel and Jimmi go to a stag do, where the stripper is...! Heston goes to see an old friend, who is a 'serial canceler', but ends up on his new Segway.

Jack wakes up after a wild party, only to have to help a girl to hospital. She's vomiting, after taking something she shouldn't have. He also has to deal with a mad and violent relation of hers, who just won't go away. Charlie gets sex education tips from Cherry and Zara - mainly Zara. Ruth visits Henry, only to receive some shocking news.

Ruth goes to apologize to Henry for her outburst, and they have tea and muffins. He is still determined to end their sessions, so she loses it again. He then tells her the real reason for wanting to move away. A young girl is killed, and Jimmi treats a woman who has seen the killer. Immie invites Gio around for lunch, much to Karen's surprise. So much for having sex on the sofa!

Ruth asks Simon if he can find out what he can about MS, as Henry is moving away to look after his ex wife who has it. She has a last meeting with him, tap dances for him, and puts on a brave face. Two men have trouble coping with their Telly Sales boss, who's a bit of a ball-breaker. Simon helps the one guy, Jamie, who has missed an appointment and is now ill.

An old friend of Hestons wants to go to Hong Kong, only her father is dying. Heston gets involved in a complicated family situation. It's Julia's first day back at work, and she is bowled over by the enthusiasm of everyones welcome. Is she coping with it okay though, as she's having flashbacks to her imagined time when she was ill? Zara snaps at Daniel when he constantly voices concern over her hot flushes.

The Mill boiler isn't working, so Karen calls the plummer. He may be fit (according to Zara and Cherry), but he's got a phobia of mice, which is a problem when he discovers loads of mice droppings everywhere. Karen decides to help him by introducing Rodney into the proceedings. It's the day of Elaine's first morning meeting, but it's more difficult to arrange than one would think.

An old friend of Julia's is having a relapse of an old condition, which has the effect of her seeing strange hallucinations. Her son-in-law goes to Julia, thinking she's faking it, and asks Julia to help. Elaine has another go at having her first staff meeting, she's even baked proper gluten-full muffins. Zara continues to hide from having an emotional conversation with Daniel.

Zara wakes up with the hot sweats again, and Daniel is fed up with her lying to him all the time. He gets Cherry to ask her over to Jimmi's for a four-way dinner party - she's cooking. Jimmi finds out that Cherry has made a mess in the toilet, and used all his towels to clean it up. He shows her how to clean properly. Daniel finally corners Zara, and she tells him everything.

Rob has been drafted in to help CID on an observation, but he gets distracted when a rambling homeless man starts going on about a dead body. He used to be a soldier, so Rob thinks he's hallucinating, as there's now no body. Will Rob be able to keep his mind on the job in hand, or will the watch be ruined? Daniel has a lot to think about after Zara's revelation, and is worrying too much. Zara is at the Campus, and is also fretting. She confides in Ruth, so Ruth gives her some beetroot salad.

Elaine meets a handsome stranger when she gets lost a St Phil's on her way to a meeting.

Concerned that Heston gives prescription drugs to patients far too easily, Elaine, Zara and Ruth bet him that he can't go just one day without giving any. Unfortunately the scrub nurse that used to terrify him when he was young arrives, demanding her beta blockers. He ends up going to a wedding with her. Dr. Richard Cane calls Elaine trying to apologize to her for yesterday, and wants to have lunch. Jack wants to write a story about Tony, as he's so fit.

Sasha is taking 'calorie-busters' and not sleeping, and Jack is not eating. Sasha tells Immie, who is far from impressed, especially when Sasha disappears from a test. Jack is trying to keep up with the other bigger, fitter boys in the gym. Elaine accuses Richard of stalking her, when he turns up at the Mill, in an interview with Julia. Cherry dumps Jimmi for Angelina, then gets paranoid that she's upset him.

A man is caught in a local art gallery. He sneaks in every night so he can look at a famous painting. One night the painting disappears. He claims aliens have taken it. The insurers send to qualified 'experts' to Letherbridge, one a young, sexy woman, with a short skirt - very full of herself, the other an elderly man. They keep arguing. Can Rob sort out all the mess? Tony is angry after reading Jacks article, and tries to belt him one, and he's not the only one!

Daniel and Zara take Izzie shopping before they go on their holiday. There's a local fair, with a carousel. While Izzie is enjoying a ride, Daniel and Zara have a brief moment when their attentions are not on Daniel's daughter, who disappears from under their noses. Zara phones Rob and Lisa, everyone's very upset. But where has Izzie gone, and who has taken her?

We see Izzie's abduction from the point of view of the abductors. They were going to give Izzie back, but decide to make Daniel squirm a bit longer. They take her back to their family home, and start calling her Daisy. Daniel and Lisa take part in a news conference, although the local news hacks also look into Daniel's shady past. Lisa blames Zara, and Daniel totally loses it.

Lisa gets approached by Adam, the local TV hack reporter. He's out to make a name for himself, and gets information from Lisa which gets him very excited. With everyone at the Mill being hounded by reporters, Daniel tries to search for Izzie himself, and finds a Methodone addict who says he saw her, but wants drugs in return. Christopher, the son of the people who took Izzie, discovers that his new adopted sister Daisy is really Izzie. What's he to do?

Zara risks her career by going back to drug addict Kev, and giving him Meths in return for information. Daniel continues to lose it, by first arguing badly with Lisa, then Zara, even though she's helped him loads. Adam coaxes Lisa into having an interview on live Television, then turns on her. The Oakleys continue to keep Christopher locked in his room, but tension is mounting between the two of them. When Christopher finally escapes, there are horrific consequences.

Following Christopher's accident, the police discover that he was really called John, and was abducted when he was three. Daniel makes it up with Zara, and together they discover the home of Izzie's abductor's. They realize that the Oakleys are about to leave the country with Izzie. The race is on, but will they be too late? Daniel has one final shock for Zara.

A young patient of Heston's is having a course of radiotherapy. His tumor is still active, and he's having visions, visions of his mother, and water. He has been given differing advice from Doctor Diana, a homeopathic doctor whom Heston has fought with before. Everyone tries to be all happy with Zara, after her saving Izzie, though only Jimmi and Cherry know of her heartbreak.

Katrina Kidd is a singer trying to make a comeback. She appeared on a TV talent show back in the 1980's and is now trying out in Lord Lloyd Webber's new talent show. She also happens to be Ruth's old music teacher, and begs Ruth to accompany her to a rehearsal. Only she can't actually sing. Jack goes to the Mill to have his stitches out, and decides to move back to Campus. He gets an offer from Tony.

Heston asks Elaine to step in as a medical advisor on a play that a friend of his is directing in Birmingham. Only both director and main actor are very intense. Toby's method acting is badly affecting his health. Then Elaine is asked to step is and read for another actor who hasn't turned up. It all gets very intense, and just a bit weird - what has she got herself into?

Two ladies in the local travel agent are having a bizarre 'weight loss' competition at work. One of them is a friend of Karens, who finds herself getting involved. Jack is busy heavily training with Tony. While bored at work, Rob gets an offer of moving over to CID for a couple of weeks, more money. Will he go for it? Zara is being really snappy with Ruth, but never one to give up, Ruth joins her for lunch. Zara ends up drinking way too much and confessing all.

It's Daniel's first day back in work. Lisa's paranoia is getting to him (she's convinced she's being followed), and things are very awkward with Zara. Then he gets a surprise visitor. Julia is surprised and delighted when Joe walks into the Mill. He's just in time to help Julia with the Housman ward concert. The lead pianist is getting dizzy spells and has a really overbearing mother. Daniel is finding it difficult to cope with Lisa's over the top demands, and the fact that she won't leave the house. Joe's not much impressed either. Jack's getting obsessed with his training and getting fit, but is he doing too much?

Joe and Ruth have a catch up.

Heston attends his first soirée with the Elite Dining Club, with just three other people. He finds himself in the middle when the two women's squabbles over the affection of the man get out of hand. Joe goes for dinner with Julia, to leave Daniel and Lisa alone for an evening, but receives a shock after Julia gets a bit tipsy. Jack catches up with Auntie Aggy.

Elaine is enjoying a day at the local holistic retreat. Her peace is disrupted though, by the arrival of an ex of the owner, out for money. It's a bit awkward between Julia and Joe after the events of the previous night, then Joe announces he's heading back to Boston. Before he goes though, he offers Ruth a job at his Mental Health Community Program. It's Auntie Aggi's last day, but before she goes she has a few things to say.

Martha and George are going to a memorial service, only he has forgotten his medals. He says he's not feeling too well, but doesn't want a fuss. Heston injures his back while dancing to Beyonce, so Cherry calls her friend, a sports masseuse. Jack and Tony continue their competitive workouts.

Neither is Julia when she finds him sleeping it off in Cherry's room. Ruth takes Elaine with her to meet her mother for lunch. She's very unsure as to whether to let her into her life again. Julia gets nosy, and invites herself along. Lesley Hammond and her baby daughter go to see Simon. He thinks everything is fine, until he gets a visit from Najmah who tells him she thinks Lesley is abusing her daughter.

Christine, a Lollipop lady discovers that she has Motor Neurone Disease. She tells Heston that she won't tell her husband, she'll be able to survive on her own as she's won two millions pounds on the lottery. She hasn't told her husband about that either. Simon has a go at Lesley for lying to Najmah. He tells her that she has to tell Najmah that Sam is back on the scene. Karen convinces Cherry to shake up her and Jimmi's relationship a bit. Cherry thinks it's going a bit stale.

Rob gets called in on a case of missing pharmaceuticals. The accused is an asylum seeker. Simon thinks Najmah is abusing Lesley. She turns up at Lesley's front door unannounced. The partners convince Elaine to keep an eye on Simon.

Denise, the surgery cleaner, is lying, saying she's a doctor. She has a hot date at a hotel, and gets advice from Karen. Her lying gets her into a whole load of trouble though. Mrs Tembe tries to make an impression on her first day at the Mill. Elaine and Heston go around to visit Simon to put the Recovery Program idea to him, and his mom Sue goes to see Zara - she's finding it hard coping now she's looking after him.

Immie confides to Jack. Simon and Elaine talk to his parents to try and sort out their problems.

He also sees a death figure following him, and really starts worrying when he gets a visit from an old friend you tells him that a soldier mate has died. Then that friend kills himself! His past is coming back to haunt him.

Immie reacts very badly when she finds out that her mom has gone away for a couple of weeks. Final preparations are underway for Julia's Friday night Book Club.

Barry turns up at the Mill to see Daniel. He tries to chat up Zara, and wants a penis extension.

One of the members of 'big' girl band Absolutely Flabulous has a secret which could tear them apart. Cherry finds herself in the middle of it all, with not much thanks. Mrs Tembe declares war on all germs, but soon forgets about them when told that the Queen is going to visit Letherbridge. With Rob on nights and Karen away, Jack has to look after Immie, but it's not all plain sailing.

Julia accuses a rude shop girl, Jane, of stealing £20 from her. It gets her the sack. Jane goes and sees Zara for some nasty eczema, but leaves her diary in the ladies toilet. He hates being there, but tries to help when he sees an elderly lady being made a fool of.

Mrs Tembe is visiting a sick member of her church in hospital, but is shocked by the apparent lack of care. She starts talking to the man at the bed next to her, who's looking after his wife. He is there day and night and very tired, so Mrs Tembe decides to help him, and everything else at the same time. Simon gets the date for his final exams, but is still undecided about whether to take them or not. Jimmi has bought a flash new car, though Cherry's over-enthusiasm for it puts their relationship at risk, especially after she vomits in it.

It's three years since Paul's car accident, an accident that made him blind. He's lashing out at everyone and wont accept any help, either from Simon or his partner Mel. Julia and Zara go to the PCT meeting, one looking at obesity. They're targeting the new Chief Executive though, with Zara making a big impression - in her own sweet way! Daniel is left in charge of the Mill, but he and Karen get suspicious when a fitness-obsessed elderly patient mixes up his prescriptions, and his dodgy grandson is hanging around outside. Elaine tries to help Simon, but only manages to annoy him.

Rob is investigating a shooting. A gin addled local prostitute has been pulled in again, only Rob wants rid of her. It's Karen's first day of home visits, only her day takes her to the mother of one of the suspects. As Rob and Karen's jobs bring them together, will it give Rob the chance he's looking for - to get back into Karen's life as well?

12x209 – Happy Days
Simon sees David, who is a painter, to try and set up depressed patients seeing him as a form of art therapy through the University. He tells Simon his girlfriend is depressed, so he agrees to see her. It seems she is not the only one who is depressed though. Julia asks a delighted Elaine to the University Spring Ball. She then goes shopping for sexy dresses with Zara, though she's not entirely happy about it all.

12x210 – Yes M'Lady
It's Immie's art project showing, but it doesn't get the reaction she was hoping for, especially from Jack! After the most terrible feedback, she decides she needs a treat. Cherry deals with a seemingly devoted butler who is trying to make his delusional, dying mistress' last days as comfortable as possible, despite arguments from her son. He seems to think that the butler is after her money!

12x211 – Cinderellas
Elaine, Daniel and Zara attend the University Spring Ball. Zara stuns all by wearing the most drop dead gorgeous dress, and she's in a devilish mood. Bored, and worried about Julia, who hasn't turned up, Elaine goes to find out what's wrong. Cherry plans a weird and relaxing night in with Jimmi, involving running water and an oily message, though neither are expecting a gate-crasher.

12x212 – No Regrets
Cherry helps Dafydd clear up after his and Jimmi's wild night - the place is a mess. Cherry has a shock later though, when Dafydd announces he's going to stay a bit longer as he has Hepatitus. Elaine is treating a particularly grumpy old woman at a retirement home, when a young woman pretending to be a cleaner, gets in to pester them about the lady's family history. Elaine's sugar free health cakes don't go down too well with the staff at the Mill, so Mrs Tembe promises to cook some Botswanian delicacies for them - though the ingredients leave a lot to be desired.

12x213 – The Abnormal Heart
Rob is taken off his main case, and given the task of investigating complaints of indecency at a local gallery. It seems the exhibit is using body parts, including a human heart. This infuriates Immie though, who decides to make a stand for freedom of expression and police censorship. Mrs Tembe cooks her Botswanian stew for lunch, although the smell is so bad it creates massive bad feeling between her and Zara, and a surgery evacuation. Dafydd has some more tests for his Hepatitus. He sees Cherry, who gets a shock when he squeezes her bottom as a thank you.

Immie wants to buy a scarf for Karen, so she decides to steal it. She gets caught though by someone who warns her to stay off her patch or deal with the consequences. Karen deals with a student who comes in with burns on his hands. His act of revenge leads Karen and Rob to a near-death experience in a burning building and a high ledge. Cherry tells Jimmi about Daf's "copping a feel". She's getting fed up with him.

It's Rob's first evening back at home, so Jack and Immie make themselves scarce. Their soul searching keeps getting interrupted though, with a nosy neighbor, a noisy delinquent and the return of a very drunken Immie.

12x216 – The Hoarse Whisperer
Peter finds himself in a car sales competition, to keep his job. Unfortunately he has lost his voice. Simon to the rescue. And perhaps they can help each other, as Simon's car has had it, well, according to Mrs Tembe! Cherry spots Jimmi lending Daf a big handful of cash, and she's not too happy about it. He then turns up really late, making a mess, and with a drunken girl with him. When Cherry has a go, he threatens her. Mrs Tembe tries her hand at cooking for the staff again, but will it be as terrible as last time?

It's a busy day for Zara. She finds herself in the middle of some severe sibling rivalry which has developed between two sisters over a stolen boyfriend. She then uncovers the truth about an awful hereditary genetic condition which the girls' father is suffering from. Julia tries to get her to take part in a bake-off, and later, when Julia is having a go at her, Zara is finally forced to admit to her that she loves Daniel. Cherry opens up to Simon about the horrid Daf.

12x218 – Relax and Rejuvenate
Julia reluctantly accepts a free spa day from Bella, an old friend of hers, but she soon becomes embroiled with two women bent on revenge. It seems Bella is a bit of a husband stealer. Daniel freaks out when Zara tells him that she told Julia about their affair. Jimmi has to go away for a few nights, leaving Cherry all alone with Daf. Daniel tries to get Simon to do his late night on-call shift.

Karen discovers that one of Rob's oldest friends has a shocking secret. Him and his wife are having an 80's party for their wedding anniversary, though he's also wearing women's clothes. His wife thinks he's having an affair though - with Karen. An old friend from hell of Cherrys calls her for a home visit. She has a nasty scar on her face, though she carries on treating Cherry exactly how she did many years ago.

Elaine encounters a woman who says she went to a rave last night, but claims that it was in April 1990. Has she got amnesia, or has she really traveled in time? Cherry tries to tell Jimmi about Daf, about taking him for a ride, and his test results. Jimmi refuses to believe her though. Will she get through to him?

Jack is under pressure as his exams are looming, and he also has to redo his ethics paper. He faces temptation though when a friend offers him some pills to keep him going. Somebody's also been selling them to other students. DCI Driver interviews Rob on his last day in CID, and it doesn't go well. It's Simon's first day on night on-call, and it's quite eventful.

Simon is rushed to St Phils after being stabbed on his first night of on-call duty. Cherry gets the call, and is there in a flash. After telling the doctors, Julia and Elaine go and visit him after his operation. As does Simon's driver, whom he gets closer to. Jimmi realizes that one of his patients may have been buried in her back garden by her own husband. Heston returns from Italy and catches up with the gossip.

Martha used to be a model. It's now her 60th birthday and she's taking anti-depressants and wants some bot-ox from Daniel. She also thinks he's rather a dish. Her pregnant daughter isn't happy with him though - she wants Daniel to stop prescribing her the pills. She works herself up so much though, that she has problems with her pregnancy. Martha wallows in nostalgia, and goes out in her old sixties clobber. It's all going to end very badly.

Imogen and her classmate Daisy embark upon an art project at the late Sebastian Landers' house. They are unprepared for the horror that awaits them though, and are warned to stay away from the attic by the scary housekeeper. Oh, what will they do? Rob decides to fill in his CID application form, but finds himself locked in Heston's room when Mrs Tembe mistakes him for a burglar. Zara and Daniel try to get in a bout of afternoon sex, only she is really getting fed up with being the 'other woman'. Simon is at home recuperating after his stabbing.

It's the first day of Simon's exams, and Julia and Elaine want to buy him something, so they decide to get him a phallic shaped flowering cactus! Lisa feels trapped, so takes stock of her life with Daniel and thinks about her future, especially after she meets up with Sadie. Julia bumps into an old friend who works at the local garden center. He thinks his wife has finally left him, so Julia sets him up on a blind date with Elaine. Lisa brings Izzie into the surgery, and sees Dr Clay. She makes him promise not to tell Daniel though. It's Simon's practical exam day, with actors playing patients, but how well will he do? Lisa tricks Daniel into looking after Izzie while she goes for a job interview, so he leaves her with Zara! He also finds out that Lisa had brought Izzie into see Jimmi, and he is not best pleased by not being told. Elaine has her blind date with Owain, but it doesn't quite go to plan, especially when his wife turns up.

While around his neighbors arranging for their son to attend work experience at the Mill, Heston finds himself embroiled in their intimate affairs when a mystery flea is found - and it's not the cats! Daniel and Zara's latest afternoon sexual liaison is interrupted by Lisa, who has some shocking news. Simon nervously awaits the results of his exams.

The partners decide that they are going to offer Simon a permanent position following his exam results, so Heston sends Mrs Tembe on a mission to buy a fancy cake. Simon gets a phone call though, which makes him miss his party. Will he take up the partners' offer though? Daniel and Zara try to come to terms with Lisa's "devastating" news.

A older student faints so goes to see Zara. Zara discovers that she's a bit quirky though - wears corsets and stuff, but is unprepared for the reality of her life. Simon is a bit trepidatious about going to Karen's dinner party, and Karen is having problems with the food, especially when Immie buys unplucked pigeons!

Elaine bashes into a QC's car in a car park. During the argument he has a heart attack, but Elaine saves his life. He turns up a month later wanting to do a good deed by helping the poor. It only gets both him and Elaine into a lot of trouble, especially when they find themselves at the top of a tall building trying to stop a tearful pregnant woman from jumping.

Jack has his eyes opened when spending the day with Rob, and gets picked up by Andrea along the way! He's trying to write a thesis. Cherry tries everything to get Simon to stay at the Mill, but he's already announced his intention to leave to the partners. Cherry's very sad. Immie carries on stealing.
