Meanwhile, Rebecca gets into a car accident, which turns out to be staged by an insurance fraud ring, and Ellinor represents a scientist trying to save her ape from being killed by a science lab.

When a 13 year old boy shoots his mother for no apparent reason, Bobby and Helen struggle over charging him as a child or an adult. Meanwhile, Eugene tries to get a murderer off on a technicality, while realizing how he looks through his young son's eyes.
