Warner konzentriert sich aktuell mit aller Kraft auf den kommenden "Batman vs Superman", welcher, nach einem großen finanziellen Erfolg, dann in einem "Justice League"-Film enden soll. Und da gerade fleißig an Serien-Helden gearbeitet wird ("Arrow", "Flash"), gibt es bereits einige DC-Figuren dazu. Unterdessen hofft Regisseur Guillermo Del Toro ("Pacific Rim") weiterhin seinen "Justice League Dark" zu inszenieren, welcher anstatt Superman oder Batman, Figuren wie Swamp Thing, The Demon, John Constantine, Deadman, The Spectre, Zatara und Zatanna vereint.
 
In einem neuen Interview, verriet nun Del Toro, dass das Projekt immer noch in Arbeit sei und aktuell gar jedes Detail aus dem DC-Universum zur Debatte steht (sei es als Kino/TV oder Online Möglichkeit).

"We're still on [working on 'Justice League Dark'], writing, and hopefully it will happen but there are no developments that are new," he explained. "We're still at Warner Bros, they are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is 'Justice League Dark.' They're planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan."
