Auf handfeste Kritiken liegt immer noch em Embargo, allerdings wurde der Film nun der US-Presse gezeigt und die durften auf Twitter schon einmal preisgeben, wie ihnen der Film gefallen hat. Wie eigentlich immer bei solchen Ersten Meinungen via Social Media fielen die Reaktionen äußerst positiv auf. Meg scheint wohl das zu sein, was viele erwartet haben: ein Spaß-Blockbuster für den Sommer. Unten haben wir euch einige Tweets eingefügt.

I saw #TheMeg at a screening last night and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it. It's legitimately well-executed in its tension and action scenes and it 100% knows what type of movie it is without resorting to dumb Sharknado levels of stupidity. Perfect late summer film.
